About Me

My name is Caroline Raisler. This blog was my master’s project for the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where I received a Masters in Environmental Management.

I am now living in Northampton, Massachusetts and will soon be starting a new job monitoring conservation restrictions for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  For the last two and a half years, I’ve been a part-time contractor for the Hilltown Land Trust, doing stewardship and anything else they need. Before to going back to school, I was the conservation steward for the Maryland/DC Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.

When I’m not taking care of land for work, I can usually be found hiking around the mountains and meadows with my dog.
